The Ruby’s Rosé is the only Merlot dominant Rosé in Australia and is modelled on the Bordeaux (French) version, which is predominantly made from the Merlot grape. Having spent a greater time with skin contact, it has extracted a greater depth of flavour and a darker ruby colour. Lifted aromas of strawberry, toffee and cranberry are evident that follow through with a textural and rounded middle palate. This integrated with cool climate viticulture provides a clean acidic backbone that is balanced and finishes crisp, dry and refreshing. Perfectly paired with grilled seafood or spicy, aromatic Asian cuisine.
